Future Lights

I noticed that Future can be used to tint canopies in the last issue. I started thinking (caused lights to dim) and came up with this. Navigation/landing lights, canopies, anything clear can be tintied. I tried it with nav lights on my Me-262. Future and food coloring (red, green, blue, yellow) in film cannister. Mix dark and allow it to sit for an hour. Remove and let dry like canopies and has a nice bright shine to the color. BIG TIP: KEEP THE SPRUE AS BIG AS POSSIBLE SO YOU DON'T LOOSE THE TINY THINGS!

Good idea! Thanks for the tip! I'll try it on my UH-1C I'm currently, but slowly working on.

What I use for lights is the Gunze clear red, and clear green over the top of silver to simulate lights that color. The Future tip would work good too though I would imagine.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon
