Back in the late 50s, early 60s, Messerschmidt produced a 3 wheeled, two passenger (tandem) car. Kid at school won one at the county fair. 4 guys could pick it up and walk off with it. It was found parked in a lot of strange places as that year went by.

doc,

I immediately thought the same thing. I said to myself, at least they didn't designate it Me-410!

Yeah, it'll look real funny in your rear view mirror with a pair of MG-131's lighting up, oh wait ... those are headlights, never mind.

Rebirth of Messerschmitt?

I know this is about a car, but still thought you all might find it funny. The magazine Autoweek ran a little blurb about the new Chrysler concept car, the ME Four - Twelve. What makes it funny ( at least to me ) is that in post war Germany, whatever was left of Messerschmitt was absorbed by Daimler Benz! And the designation, "ME"

Oh well, maybe it's not that funny after all!
