After consulting a couple books, namely the Luftwaffe Colours series and Luftwaffe at War best I can determine is RLM 66 Schwarzgrau or black green. There may have been different colours used depending on where the planes were at and what period of the war. Long story short; I'm saying RLM 66 or RLM 02 Grau. I'm sure others with more info can help validate or refute my findings. Good luck!

Mikeymize: Thanks for info I found a cokpit picture of a 52 on the War Birds web site it was a restored one that was painted light blue. I think I'll go with RLM66. I plan on painting the extieror like the one in the movie Where Eagles Dare the old movie with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood.         ACESES5

Glad you found the info. The 52 is not the most common model needless to say and there's very few resources on it compared to bombers and fighters. I personally like it though haven't built one yet. They and all the cargo types were truly the unsung heroes of the war. BTW, that movie you mentioned is awesome! They don't make 'em like that anymore!
