I picked up two 1/72 Roden kits (Bristol Fighter and Fokker D.VII) for ~$9.00 US each.

Check out two good web sites for WWI planes:

.
This site has a great forum with a section dedicated to modeling.

Another fantastic site.

Both of those are excellent kits. If you want to build something a little more basic, the old Revell kits are still around in some places.

Eduard kits are top notch for 1/72 they go together very nicely. Roden kits are pretty good too, but may take some slight modifications to make some parts fits, but they have a bigger range of kits and they cost less than eduads

which companies, makes good quality 1/72 World war 1 ac kits?
I've always had a fascination for WW1 ac for some reason, and I'm thinking about making some.
