Most of you know Derek Brown, his models have graced the covers of FSM over the years, his USS Texas, his 1/48 Sea Knight, and 1/72 Dinah.
Derek's latest endeavor is the first of his Restorations Illustrated series, a comprehensive photo collection of a pair of Bf-109G restorations. This CD is a must-have for anyone building, or having an interest in, the Messerschmitt Bf-109.
The first volume in the Restorations Illustrated series is dedicated to the restoration of two original Messerschmitt Me-109 G-10’s, and includes over 1,200 detailed photographs, a list and photos of the surviving Me-109’s from around the world, profile illustrations by the great Dekker Thierry, as well as a thorough history of the two airframes by Richard Corey. The disc also includes wonderful scale models by some of the most talented modelers from across the globe, as well as copies of exploded diagrams from original Me-109 G-2, G-6, and K-4 maintenance manuals.
