try writing to revell germany for info on this kit, i have heard that they now own the molds for it. other than that try someone like www.kingkit.co.uk or www.kitkrazy.com . hope this helps.

Hi!

I have this kit! although I tried to build it when I was a kid, It's quite a piece o'junk!

Now it's all broken and one of the wings is missing... and I still can enjoy it's white blue and black plastick. To be honest I dont think It's somthing to spend money on it. it lacks a lot of detail and the fitting sucks!

However it is probabley the only kit of the privateer, maybe it's best for you to buy the 1/48 scale revell kit.
like this one:

And try to find the right one tail and different nose sections from after market companies.

This is an awesome aircraft! I've been in all of the ones Hawkins & Powers has, grown up around them. They even sent one to the naval museum in Pensacola called "Old Blue" by H&P.

ebay has a few once and awhile. Just check it everyday, they go for $20 to $60. And there are even vac conversions in 72 and 48 scale.

If you want some nice pics, go here:

Hopes this helps!
