Well, I'm pretty sure it's an MSN thing... let's try that again:

Sigh [sigh] Yep. it's an MSN thing. Why not try using a free hosting site like www.ripway.com? David Voss had a thread a while back about free hosting sites... i think it was in one of the support or general discussion forums. Smile [:)]

Shrikes, that F-80 is Monogram's 1/48 kit. I finished it primarily with SNJ aluminum. It was my first time to use that product and I experimented with it some by buffing some panels, not buffing others; well, you probably know the drill. Oh, and about those brackets-that's the only way I can get it to work Do you know why that is? IS it an MSN 'thing"? Thanks, Gary.

Nice F-80, Texgunner! She does look like she's ready to fly! If i may ask, what did you use for the NMF and what scale is she in?

Oh, and you missed a close square brackets to post the image. I tried to post the image again for everyone to enjoy, but it didn't come out. i don't think MSN allows this sort of thing... Oh well. Big Smile [:D]

Great looking picture... looks real. I think you're right about a NMF in the sun.

thanks Awood23. eventually, i'll try to have a photo of each plane in my collection posted on that Group page. It's a fun hobby but one that is too easy for me to put off-you know, the timing has to be right for a good modeling session. I'm afraid that my meager model-making skills have just about plateaued out. I think I just decided that if i was ever gonna finish most of what i've already bought AND all the others i want to buy...well, let's just say i need to live to about 125. I guess i would rather have 60-70 finished 1/48 planes that just a few "prize-winners" (as if ?!?). Now, I really need a new display cabinet too. later, Gary
and thanks for your kind words Joe.

with apologies to Bruce; I just couldn't resist. I do think that NMF looks good in natural sunlight though. This is my Monogram F-80C "Salty Dog":
