Iraqi MiG-21MF
Posted by Texgunner on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 5:45 PM
Hi everyone, I have a new hosting site (thanks Moses-Rob) for my pics and I'm dying to try it out. So, with no further ado, here goes:

Alright! Now that's more like it!! This is sooo much better.
This is the ESCI 1/48 MiG -21. I built it right after Desert Storm and was inspired to do 'er up in Iraqi livery, circa the Iraq-Iran War in the '80s.

Aha one managed to get away!
Great job! The Mig21 is a real beauty of a plane ,
low slung and ruggged it really looks like a predator.

Actualy the one I looked over at RAAF Williamtown looked lile a flying drain pipe! The one thing that did impress me was that the pilots must have been very brave to strap their botties to the seats!
Got some good photos though.

Great job Tex, I've been tempted as of late to do some Iraqi aircraft... that was some good inspiration.
