Hey guy's & gal's;
sorry but I'm not impressed reasons is I live only 10 miles from the Batwing cave and see them every single day, and I guess I'm just over exposed to them, but the Fleagles are Impressive though

I kinda have a good house location for fly-overs. I live about three miles due north of the Indy 500 track, and the fly-overs are always north-to-south, so they always fly right over my house. I have some great shots of F-16s, a B-2, F-15s, etc. Beats fighting a crowd of 300,000+ to see them!!Big Smile [:D]

Nice pic thanks for sharing.

It'd be great to see Tomcats do a flyover of a big event before they're retired. From what I've heard of the Navy's future plans, a mixed formation of Tomcats and S-3s would be appropriate as the Vikings are slated for retirement right in the same time frame as the Tomcats.

Was it just me, or did anyone else find it funny that they did a B2 / F117 flyover of the Rose Bowl, but not the Super Bowl?

2 F-15E's from Seymour Johnson AFB, NC to be precise.

As a matter of interest, here's a shot of the F-16's that did the flyover for the 2003 race...

Dana

Thanks for sharing your experience and the pics with us. I would give much to see a B2 in flight, but chances are slim here in the Mile High area. We don't get many airshows in this region.

Very cool that you saw the Daytona also. Good for you!

Heh...ya know what? I was near the track when the started the Busch race on Saturday. Guess what did the flyover? Four F-14s. I wish I could have taken some pics of that.

Yea, I was at the race. I was pretty much right in the center of the back straight. About 1/3 of the way up. Yea. I saw AS one. I even have a pic of it after it took off. By the time I got the camera out and took a pic of it, it was far enough away that you could tell it was a 747 and that's about it.

I would like to see the F-14's Do some flyovers before they are officially retired. I don't think I have ever seen a Tomcat do a flyover. That dosen't mean the haven't but I haven't seen any.

Boy it would be nice to see them fly over the Super Bowl and Daytona 500 in 2007, the year they are slated to be offically retired.

Bones were you at the race? What was your location if you were? Was AF One's entrance and exit from your standpoint visible?

Thanks for the photo.

Yea...not to hard to pick out the big bird. The fighters were F-15's.

BTW, in case you guys didn't know, if you click on the picture, it will enlarge.

The center one is a B-2 Bomber and the ones on the right and left have twin tails so it is probably a F-15's by the wing shape.

Clear Left!

It's cool that your airforce has enough planes left over to overfly major sporting events... our airforce doesn't have enough planes anymore to do anything except look pretty on the ramp! Wink [;)]

I realize this maybe slightly off topic, but I thought I'd share a pic I took at the Daytona 500 this past weekend.

I wonder if anyone can identify those aircraft? Big Smile [:D] Heh...actually, I sure would hope so!!!
