Hey guys... thanks!

Seems to be quite scarce I guess.....

jimz66-- panel lines are most definitely raised.... Sad [:(]....but I'm not going to let it bother me LOL....there is even a bomb-shaped indentation on the belly for the bomb.....grrrrrrrr. Decals provided are for 2 American sets ( for VMSB-231 and Marine Scouting Squadron 3 out of the Virgin Islands)) and a French set...

Makes two of us. I have the Matchbox release of that kit. I have some of what you are looking for but I plan to use them. They should be out there. I have plans of scratchbuilding the cockpit. But that is a couple of years off.I have no srcatchbuilding experience. So it will have to wait. I can't find and decals the ones I have are terrible and not useable. They are dirty and faded. I bought the kit off EBay. I bought that kit because my Grandfather had it, and me and my stepmother started it, never finished it, and I don't know what happened to it. So it has sentimental value to it.

Good Luck with yours. Are your panel lines raised or recessed. How many decal versions are proveded for?

Hey, Mike. Did a search for you in www.hannants.co.uk and this is all i could come up with.

Item ED32040
Eduard Etched parts (designed to be used with the Matchbox and Revell kits)

Item WMP3214
Waldron Instrument panels (Douglas Dauntless Placards & Film Parts)

Item ED32042
Eduard Etched parts (SBD-5 Dauntless exteri, designed to be used with the Matchbox and Revell kits)

No pictures and very vague descriptions, but this should put you on the right track. Try getting in touch with swanny -- he's always working with resin stuff! Smile [:)]
