Chris,

Just so you know, trying to sell stuff on here is generally considered a no-no. Nice work though.

James -

try this link:

http://www.dataviewbooks.com/Shareware.html

"Sheet 48-01 1/48 B-29 Nose art for Lady Bomerang, humpin honey, and T.D.Y. Widow II, plus tail markings for the first two aircraft
(note: this sheet's noseart could be considered risque by some. If you're underage or offended by such material, don't download)"

The "Sheet 48-01" text is the link to the .pdf file

Give that a try and let me know if it works

Chris - I found the link to the download. The graphic in the "shareware" box would only fill up from the top half, however, I could tell that it was the link.
I began the download, but dur to the length of time to complete it, and the late hour of this night, I cut it off.
I'd be more than happy to pay for the download when I complete it, and I think the PayPal method is convenient also.
Looking forward to more offerings from your site, and hope you can sort out the little bugs.

>Chris - Sorry, maybe I'm stupid

Hardly - the problem may well be on this end - server is acting just a bit squirrely tonight. Give it another shot - http://www.dataviewbooks.com the button is near the top of the page, middle of the page. On the sahreware page there is a link to the .pdf.

I hadn't seen that link - thanks. I should check the decal forum out on a more regular basis.

>I think your offer is outstanding, BTW.

Thanks - we'll see if this is useful. If so, I may finish up a bunch of other markings I have that are currently 3/4 complete and offer them on CD.

Chris - Sorry, maybe I'm stupid, but I couldn't find any link from that site for the decals you spoke of.

However, the idea of this is exactly the kind of thing we have been talking of down in the decaling forum. Check out this topic:

http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15403

We need some help getting this going.

I think your offer is outstanding, BTW.

I've noticed a lot of Code 206 errors - perhaps it is better to save the link to disk rather than attempting to view the file from within a browser

"Shareware" Decal Pattern experiment - 1/48 B-29 patterns
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 20, 2004 6:52 PM
To give folks embarking on Monogram's B-29 some new marking options, and who have the capability to print their own decals on an inkjet or laser printer, I've produced a sheet of decal patterns with three sets of 1/48 nose art markings (Lady Boomerang, humpin honey, T.D.Y. Widow II) plus tail markings for the first two aircraft. This has been posted in .pdf form - and can be downloaded for free and viewed via Adobe Acrobat Reader. If, after you've downloaded the sheet, you find them valuable enough to use, a $4 order via PayPal or check would be appreciated.

The capability to cut n paste from the pdf has been preserved, so you can extract the images and tweak/redo them in a graphics program if you so desire.

The page can be accessed from the homepage below, via the "Shareware Decal Patterns" button.

A word of warning - the nose art on these birds was definitely "cheesecake" - if you are underage or offended by such things, don't download it.

Thanks for your attention.

Chris
