Dean, it's a decent kit but nothing exceptional. Assuming that it is dimensionally correct, it would be perfect for your needs but I believe there's some subtle LERX differences between this kit and later versions of the real thing that might annoy you.
Dean30 Yeah you were right, raised is the right way. Hmm I still might get one eve to use it as a sort of scale plastic blueprint as I have no plans. for the conversion. The Hasegawa offering is no doubt a good kid but really expensive here in the UK.

Hasegawa, seems a good buy.In Brazil it is also very expensive, way is to buy from china .. ha ha ha
Dean30 Is this kit any good? I enjoy a challenge, as I am planning on converting the 1/48 flanker to an su33 so I think I may get this so I can work out the dimensions.

[Sorry I do not speak english ... in Portuguese RAISED = HIGH RELIEF, do not know what's the name in english]Do you understand?
I did the same thing to my own Italeri Su-27K to make it a 'B' as I, being lazy, didn't want to fill in the gaps between the leading edges and the add-on canards... it was a paint mule at any rate.
Dre Lol, I saw those double wheels and looked for the canards myself... at any rate, this is still an awesome paint job.

Sorry, but I'm very newbie .. Monto kits less than 15 months, and I do not know much about airplanes ..
The canards, I chose not to put,
Dean30 Wait, so did you get an su27 fuselage and su33 landing gear? Well either way it looks great.

hahahaha... Things Italeri, I assembled the kit 100% same as the manual
Thanks for all comments
Thanks CNQ, Kolja94 and Blitzwing ;-)
Dean30 One question, why does your Flanker have the SU-33 nose gear? Was it a change you made or did Italeri get it wrong, because that's not the nose gear of an SU-27. I'm not poking fun or criticizing just curious.

Hi thanks for comment... The kit is wrong
I used this kit
My apologies if this is considered hijacking a thread but I do have a question regarding the SU-27. Nice paint job, by the way!
I have the Revell 1:72 Flanker kit 4348 and danged if I can figure out what variant it represents. Seems the Russians do a variant of the week! Anybody have an idea which one it is and where I could find a replacement cockpit for it? Thanks!
Damn. If the kit sucks you definitely unsucked it. That looks great.

Wonderful work!

I have seen this plane, you did a great job. Looks brilliant.
Outstanding work. I love it.
Theuns Outstanding, in 1/72 those digital blocks must be tiny! Theuns

yes, but not much ...Need more patience than eye ... hahaha
Hi Dre... I Used Mr. Color..This gray is wrong, I mixed with white
That's a really nice Flanker, Alemaobra. That camo looks great- I have to ask what paints you used on it.
If you didn't like that kit, try one of Trumpeter's 1/32 monsters... they're a lot of fun.
That looks great,I certainly don't have the patience or probably the ability to try that
WOW! That's just stunning! Love it!
