p-61 gunners window positioning question

Just for grins this is always a source of information. However the instructor manages to get into the gunners seat every which way except from up top.

Viewed  their site  a few times during the build but windon is closed.

I'll vouch for that.  It hinged at the top but I don't know what the angle was when it was at its maximum "openness".  I'll check my references when I get home tonight.

Try going to the mid Atlantic air museum website, they are restoring a "B" model and they have documented the entire process, they will have the only flying P-61B in existence when it's finished, they've been working with Northrop very closely for accuracy. I think the site is www.maam.org or just google them, (they're close to me so I just drive up and get my own pics! Hope this helps

I think it's hinged at the top and in the middle.  I've seen a picture, but can't recall where.  You may want to poke around here:  napoleon130.tripod.com/.../index.html
