Lawrence,
I have submitted a Readers Tip twice over the years by snail mail and have never received an acknowledgement.
If you cannot find my past submissions, and you are interested, I can resend it electronically and see if that works any better.

Don't worry, nmayhew! I've read it too, and i figure one of the reasons why people haven't been replying is because they're racking their brains to try and grab that $25! Smile [:)] Ah, the beauty of supply and demand!

Hang on, Lawrence... Is this offer good for people overseas? (Please say yes! please say yes! please say yes!) Big Smile [:D]

hi there,
re the "lessons learned" column: personally i'm not sure about how much use this would be. my reasoning is that you have a whole section devoted to techniques, painting etc, and yet the armour and aircraft forums are full of people asking the same old questions, often because they are a bit "lazy"[:0], but also because the techniques forums are nowhere near as well populated, and thus getting an answer can sometimes be a bit hard.
perhaps the answer is to have more stickies in these techniques forums, especially like the ones done by swanny (future, which you have kindly stickied), and djmodels99 (weathering armour covering loads of stuff, which is curiously not stickied).
that's just my opinion.
i'd like to add that overall i'm very happy with the forums, finding people curteous and helpful, and even when people "step out of line", members seem to police things pretty well themselves.
regards,
nick

I know, I know, I'm breaking our rule about discouraging cross-posting, but we're looking for some reader feedback, and the aircraft and armor forums have such large constituencies that I want to make sure you guys are in the loop.

First of all, we're looking for Reader Tip submissions. Click here for the details about submitting them, including how much you'll get paid. Yup, you read right: We pay for the Reader Tips we publish.

Also, I'm looking for some feedback and suggestions on a new column idea we're kicking around. Click here for the scoop.

Thanks for any and all input that you can give!
