Mix Ratios to aquire Interior green, Green Zinc Chromate With Tamiyas paints

I will have to give it a go and pick some up. and spend some time reading the painting forum for tips. I also just bought another badger (200) siphon feed and they've re-tooled it, which model are you using? Working on fixed wing (SEL) at Hobby Houston (class B airspace training). Thanks for the tips

OOOOhhhh no drop those enamels my friend - posted on the paint site as well and this guy gave me a rough ratio for Zinc that worked like charm - and just when I was getting frustrated running it through my Badger he saved the day -40 -50% warm water mixed with a drop of dish soap (before you mix it with paint!) it flowed like a champ - PPL rotory? you know David Coyote ?

Good luck on your Inst. rating, still working on my PPL. Destroy all Astro- Men could be the headlines in NYC since Roger Clemens just signed with the Astros LOL. As far as Interior Green in Tamiya colors, from my directions (working on tamiya F4F and F4U) it calls for XF-3:2 (flat yellow) + XF-5:1(flat green) so a 2:1 ratio. Maybe I will just stick to enamels LOL.

right now I'm finishing up Insturment training - I fly Scheizer 300's most of the time - sneak a robby in there occasionally - none of the fun stuff just yet!- destroy all astro men is the name of one of Man or Astro mans CD's the greates indy surf rock band in the universe! (self proclaimed!) Tamiyas a great paint untill you need a color they don't have! but that has allot more to do with me then them...

Hi Joe, I'm thinking the same thing about enamels, but haven't tried water based paints yet. Sure would make cleaning the airbrush easier! See your a chopper pilot, what do you fly, and out of curiosity what does "Destroy all Astro-Men" mean?
