My pair O' MIGS (pics)
Posted by Bones-coa on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 8:41 PM
I just finished my Trumpeter 1/32 Mig-19 PM and thought I'd pair it up with the Revell Mig-29 for some pics. I'm not a photographer so sorry for the poor image quality.

BTW, that was my first ever NMF and, while there are some errors, I'm fairly happy with the results. I used SnJ and I can say that that stuff is great!!

Thanks for letting me share and sorry for the picture sizes.

They look great, Dana ! The SNJ looks very smooth. How are the Trumpeter 1/32 kits? Are there really a lot of ejector pin marks?
Again, well done !

Thanks for all the kind words, gentlemen.

Pix, I didn't think this kit was all that bad. I'd say the worse was the front avionics bay door that you see postioned open and up on the front. The inside of this door had quite a few pin marks. There were a few here and there, but nothing I thought was all that bad.

Delta dagger, believe it or not, both aircraft where painted with a Passche H model airbrush and a wheel-cart compressor I bought at Home Depot. That compressor also serves to fill up tires and other various tasks. Big Smile [:D]

Thanks for sharing the pics there, I think MiGs are great no matter what finish they come in, there's just something about the look of them that screams out that every one of them was built to take a beating before it goes down.
