I know you were looking for museums but you might want to take a look at AAA hobby supply. (www.AAAhobby for directions) I was in Atlanta just recently and checked them out. It was decent. They may even have some info on places around there. When I was in there they were discussing the recent IPMS show in Atlanta. I guess they had a booth there.
