I'm one of those guys who will spend more than most on something that I really want, but this is just plain ridiculous...

Stupidity in Progress Tongue [:P]

Either there's a total noob involved here, a crazy person, a very rich person who doesn't give a fly or there's somethin' fishy goin on!! LMFAO...

Doesn't surprise me at all.

Many people will bid on things just because they are considered OOP, RARE or similar.

And than you got the people that buy hard to get stuff not because they want it for themselves but because they wanna sell them to make a profit.

A few buyers of Kits I had for sale did that, 2 hours after the received the kit it was back on e-bay with a much higher starting price than what they paid for it and all of a sudden it was the rarest and hardest to find kit in the whole world.

Well, I guess it wouldn't surprise you, would it? After all, you're the know-all see-all industry authority around here! Bow [bow]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]

In case you didn't get the gist of the post, this was intended to be a laugh. Nothing more...

As to the 'eBay game', tell me somethin' I don't know...

Oh, and given the ludicrous bid amount, I highly doubt this is a turnaround purchase...

I have no real anomosity towards you, BTW. But apparently you like to be argumentative, so I'm more than willing to spar. But I gotta hit the sack now. Shall we pick this up on the 'morrow, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel?

Nick, I think they must be bored or something.

Maybe they should get a hobby like modeling, rather than hanging around forums!!!!!

Just kidding.

Hey you Brits! Follow the link in Blackwolf's original post, and you'll see a bid of $109 on a Black Box cockpit for an A-6 in 1/48. Well that's what started the thread anyway, from thereon they lost me too.Big Smile [:D]

Nick, just quit a trading job eh?

What was was it fruit and veg?

Only joking!
