thanks for the review of the stuka...i've got that kit in the hangar and it'll sure come in useful when build-time comes around.
the site looks great by the way, and then i read your full construction account of the condor....WOW!!
how you soldiered through all that vacform i'll never know, but it looks simply fantastic!!
did you ever post that thing in this forum? i don't remember seeing it...if you haven't then you should...as many people need to see works like that as possible!
by the way, i gather hitler used the condor as his personal transport...any conversion/decal sets out there for that version? i'm too scared for vacform[:0], but i'd give the trumpeter 1/48 a go...

Ack!!! I thought I had the 162 book, turns out it's the Ar-234...but I do have the Polish Militaria #49 on the 162. Here's a drawing from the rear cover, this should help you out. It's deliberately a BIG image so you can get the details. JH

Jeff - I've found color pics for everything but the cockpit right sidewall, canopy latches, and canopy hinges. I'm also at a loss as to what the sidewall color in this pic is.

Any ideas?

When you starting the He-162?? I have the same kit, and I just managed to get my little mitts on the Monogram book for the 162...

Not exactly a group build, but if you need anything let me know.

Thanks Pix, I will file that for when I build mine.

Here's a shot of the radiator location. The doors are the PE parts, but the "body" of the radiator is in the locating holes. The cut runs directly through the middle of the holes. Fold the "trunk" first, position it here, draw the lines, then place the radiator with PE doors attached over it to make sure that you're not too far forward or back. Its tricky, but the grills are real beauties. Good luck !

That Eduard PE set is a real gem, isn't it? Just be careful when you install the underwing radiators. They don't make it too clear where you have to cut. I ended up having to move my cut aft, and add styrene where I had cut too far forward. I did one at a time to get the position correct on at least one. I also waited until after the fuselage was together to add the strap for the gunner's position. My gunner's seat was a tough alignment.
