AAAha... you did at that!!! Well you know how the F4F turned out... so far... show me this weld stuff at our next meeting! I would love to try . Is it usable on a Matilda? Your Sherman looks fantastic. Bring it next time. When I start the Matilda I'll hail ya here.

I really appreciate your help. Your recommendation is exactly what I thought I was going to have to do. I just didn't want to make things worse before I talked to you guys.I have to go out of town this weekend so I'll let you know how it goes next week. Thanks again!

Try using a razor saw to cut a line on one side of the joint (the side you want the wing to move to). For example, if you want to lower the left wing, cut the line on the lower surface of the left wing. Now, gently press the left wing down - the kerf of the cut should allow "room" for the wing to move. See if that provides enough bending to align the wing properly. If it does, re-cement the lower joint. You'll have to do some retouching with paint. Hope this helps!

Hello to every one! I have just recently joined FSM, and just started modeling again after 40 years! .I have however been doing other creative things with my hands.. wood working reenacting etc.. Anyways I found myself building the Trumpeter f4f4 early version AND DO I NEED HELP! Everything went well until I mounted and glued the main gear on and realized one wing was lower than the other. I had not gotten equal dihedral on both wings  and it looks off balance. the wing root was glued with liquid cement then the wing tabs that fit into the fuselage were glued in with "plastic weld". Everything has been painted and airbrushed, and I was getting ready to gloss coat with future. Now what a dilemma. I was sooo proud of my work... this was my third plane...now what a mess! Does anyone know a fix to raise or lower a wing, or what can be done HELP! Thanks in advance for you help and ideas
