1/72 B-1B Lancer

Well I finally finished up the Lancer. This is my first kit posted on this forum board. This kit actually proved more difficult than the 1/48 scale version I built a long time ago (I still have another one in the stash) A boatload of scratch building and correcting had to be done to make this kit look decent. Feedback is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Really nice looking build, i'll defiantly be using your build log when I get round to doing mine. Very useful.

That's a sweet looking build! I saw the real thing at Warner Robins and the thing is just gargantuan in size.

Thanks guys. Plastic junkie she is a huge bird. This kit gave me a lot of grief just like the real steel did.

Thanks all. This is the old monogram kit that was reissued in in 2003 I believe.

Wow! Great job! Must have been LOTS of fun doing the flaps, slats, and raising the mechanism where the wings swing.

The Monogram kit actually dates back to 1983 with very little (if any) modification except for decals, instructions, and box. I built the review model for FSM back then.

Anybody remember the old Entex kit of the B-1? I built that when I was a kid in the '70s.
