Just limited to the garage. Thanks for asking.  House is on a slab with a step-down to the garage.  I had a lot of kits stored in banker's boxes stacked on the floor.  That's that stuff that got soaked.  Have some kits where the original boxes and decals are ruined, but the plastic is OK.  Still sorting through it.

Of course when we discovered the leak, the shutoff valve for the water heater also leaked, so had to shut off the main to the house for a day.

The water heater was about eight years old, which I'm told is about the average life these days.  I've been in the habit of flushing it out once a year, but as they say, stuff happens.

No damage to the house, then?

Thanks for the kind offer, Bronto.  Fortunately someone sent me a scanned copy, so I'm good.  I do appreciate your offer to help.

Biggest loss from the flooding were some kit decal sheets, so I guess I'll be checking the aftermarket and Ebay for replacements.  Just a pain going through everything and cleaning up the mess.

Not sure where you can find one online, but I can copy and mail one to you if you need it.

Had a mishap over the weekend when our water heater (which sits next to my workbench) sprung a leak and flooded the garage.

Lost some decals and kit boxes that got soaked, but not too bad in the grand scheme of things.

One thing I do need to some help with is getting a copy of the instructions for my 1:72 Trumpeter Viggie, which were pretty much reduced to the consistency of wet toilet paper.  Anyone know where I might find a copy online?

Thanks,
