Right,

so here is a picture of parts that I think are fairings for the front windshield:

And here are the hollow end exhaust stubs:

Would anyone know why I should not be using these parts?

The kit was on a 30% sale.
I had a look and the plastic looked great so I am now a Messerschmitt owner :)

Lots of extra parts in the box - trottles, leavers, gun barrells and what looks to be fairings for the front windshield  with what looks to be the grabhadles and cockpit lights.
Also a set of individually cast exhasut pipes with hollow ends.

But all of these parts are to be omitted?

Would anyone be able to tell where these parts where originally supposed to go and also if it would be OK to use these parts on a G2.
The sprues in question are marked F rather then G.
Appreciate your advice on this, I am new to the large scale and it seems a bad idea not to use available detail where possible?
