The PBY-5 was issued before the PBY-5A kit. They use different fuselage halves.

1/48 RM PBY-5 Catalina Flying Boat Question
Posted by richs26 on Thursday, June 12, 2014 12:42 AM

Has anyone built the PBY-5 version of the RM Catalina?  Is it the same mold as the original PBY-5A?  Does it use fuselage plugs for the nose and main gear wells?  I was looking at buying one and was wondering if it was the same mold.
