Yup, in 1/72, you can get them with other US weapons, but in 1/48 you have to buy their JASDF weapons set. I really wish that they had been included in the 1/48 set D. It has been such a widely used pice of ordnance by USAF birds in combat post Vietnam- especially in the Gulf and Balkans.

they sold them in 1/72 scale (in X72-9, Aircraft Weapons: V)

I wonder why they missed the boat on selling them in 1/48?

Rex

The Hasegawa sets are good. Look for the JASDF weapons set if you want some CBU-87s. You will need two sets to arm up your Mudhen properly. I think that set also has AMRAAMs as well. For some reason Hasegawa did not provide those bombs in any of their US weapons sets, even though they are used in combat like there is no tomorrow.

hasegawa do a range of US ordinance. I have the 72nd sets and like them a lot, but they also do some in 48th.

You should be able to find these closer to home.

I am nearly 1:48 exclusively

I love 1:32 but the good kits are very pricey and take up a lot of space.

I have a Revell f-15E Strike Eagle and a Revell F/A 18-E Super Hornet, and they are EMBARRASSINGLY under-armed to say the least. They each have between  6 or so Sidewinders between the BOTH of them and 2 or so AMRAAMS. Thee planes are suppose to be LOADED out.

What is my best route to solve this problem. The academy F-15 weapons kit looks nice and might even have enough weapons for both aircraft.

I know resin parts are much better but they are expensive and these are 10$US models plus they have no aftermarket parts anyways. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
