Very cool. I managed to get the P-51B/C, a P-39Q Airacobra with PE, and a P-47N bubble top, all in PM line and all about $20 with shipping. I even found a Hasagawa P-38J Virginia Marie for less than $30. SCORE !!

Absolutely it is. I mean i wouldn't pay Tamiya/Hasegawa price for it, you can find many online in the $20 range, if not cheaper. Only complaint I have with it is that positioning the standard canopy open isn't an option.

Well then, is it a kit worth getting?

Neither. Monogram went back and retooled their old P-51B kit. They added a lot more interior cockpit detail, changed the panel lines from raised to recessed, and did some other tweaks to the molds as well.

Does anyone know if the ProModeler P-51B/C kit is a re-box of Hasagawa or Accurate Miniatures?
