Although I build primarily in 1/72 & 1/48 this definitely gets my attention and interest. Alas, I have absolutely no where to display a behemoth such as this. Armornut, if simply mentioning it on here has you doing backflips then this ought to send you into seizures:

WOW, I can acrually get a Typhoon kit larger then 1/72?  AWESOME, I picked up a Pacific Coast Hobbies Tempest 1/32nd man what a beautiful kit, however I had a 1/32nd Typhoon along time ago and have been searching for another. This post just made my day. Yes I know it's 1/24 totally cool with that. I'm doing backflips LOL.

Other way around. Britain at War Magazine Is part of the Key Publications stable as is Airfix Magazine. The caption on page 63 reads. "An artist's depiction of Hawker Typhoons IBs in action over Normandy which is based around Airfix's remarkable 1:24 scale Hawker Typhoon model."

When I saw the box art on the kit, I knew immediately it was familiar. Here's why:

The box art of the kit:

It's taken from a cover of Issue #86 of Britain at War magazine. I saw the magazine earlier this month at a Barnes and Nobles. Here's the magazine cover:
