Excellent job on the camouflage, nice weathering/fading. I haven't got that far yet. Very hard to find any info or pictures ot that gun position. I suppose I'll do what you did and build as per the kit's instructions.

Wonder why the gun handle/trigger is upside down? Mistake in the instructions?

Hey Spurdog,

I completed this kit a few months back.  I couldn't find very much info regarding this variant of Ju-88 when I was building this kit.  I thought about adding from framing to the ventral gun canopy.  In the end, I just built it per the instructions - with the trigger/handle assembly upside down.  Here's a link to the completed model.

I'm working on this interesting kit at the moment but am wondering about  the ventral rearward - firing machine gun position, or more specifically the clear part. There seems to be little or no framing - is this correct? Also, the trigger/handle assembly is upside down. Was this a manned position or was it remote controlled? It seems very close to the 75mm gun breech, but it is possible for a gunner to squeeze in if he lies down and doesn't have very long legs....Tongue Tied
