R-CMan73,

When you say heavy are you asking for commercial (747 etc.) or military (C5, B52 or WWII bombers)Confused [%-)]

Also what type of info might you have as some of it could still very well be goodQuestion [?]

Knowing what scale in which you are interested will also help in kit suggestion. Can you also tell us what qualities matter to you? Fit, accuracy, ease of assembly, cost, availability, choice of markings, and ease of paint schemes can all influence a decision. Hope you find that for which you look.

Hi there R-CMan73, and Sign - Welcome [#welcome].
I read in your previous post that you like c-135s, E-3s etc. Well, as regarks KC-135s, the AMT(/ERTL?) ones are the most recent issues in 1/72 scale and will make nice modles, but I believe fit is not perfect. Don't have any of the kits, so this is only hear-say. If you want to start with a real big jaw-dropping plane that is kind of new on the block, go for the Trumpeter Tu-95M Bear to the same scale. Huge, and from the pictures on Trumpeter's homepage, beautifully detailed. Not very cheap, but awesome. Only drawback: everything else might be downhillWink [;)].
If you like bigger scales, I could recommend the Italeri C-130 Hercules in 1/48 (different versions available) which is a bit older but leaves a lot of options to detail the cargo bay (if you like that sort of thing). Also, the Revell B-1B in 1/48 would make a BIG and rather well detailed (though not cutting edge nor trouble-free) model.
this is just off the top of my head. Let us know what you like in more detail, and maybe I can give you some better advice. Hope to see you back oftenSmile [:)]

Monogram has had many big planes in the past. Thier 1/48 collection has a couple of B-24's a couple of B-17's a B29 and a C-47. Some of these are OOP but you might find them on Ebay or in your well stocked LHS. Welcome Back, welcome back, welcome back.
