Tamiya makes a couple of little sets of jets for their 1/350 Enterprise, whcih they sell seperately.

When Trumpeter releases their 1/350 Nimitz soon, they will also release the very detailed jets that come with it as seperate kits.

Check www.squadron.com for both.

Hey Jake,

There is no CV-60 Saratoga in 1/350 unless you're scratchbuilding one.

If you're referring to the old Revell Sara kit, then it's definitely not 1/350. I think it's 1/540 or some other box scale.

Make sure before you go buying 1/350 Tamiya aircraft.

You're Absolutly right Jeff. Thanks for the save! All my models are in boxes at the moment due to a new baby and needed space in the house. Then I guess my question would be, what could I use for 1/542 crew figures? I don't mind fabricating...I just need ideas!!

Almost screwed up,

oops! I'm new at this. I didn't mean to put in a quote.

What can I use for 1/540 planes is what I meant to ask.

Good question...maybe post up on the Modelwarships.com forum, maybe there's someone with extra aircraft...You can get 1/500 and 1/600 figures from Tom's Modelworks in photoetch. Gold Medal Models also makes a photoetch set specifically for this kit.

Other option would be to cast some up...Micro-Mark makes a basic resin casting set.

Hope that helps,
