Ordinance Loadout for F-100
Posted by seasick on Monday, August 4, 2014 1:56 PM

I've been surfing around the net looking for a diagram of ordinance loads for F-100 fighters. Does anyone have one? Specifically I'm building an F-100 in Southeast Asia cammo and I want to arm it with the M117 bombs sitting in my spares box for years.

Hey seasick,

Take a look here:  http://www.f-100.org/hun.shtml  Maybe there's something on that site that'll help you out.

Cheers!

F-100.org has some great pix for modelers.  I plan on building a SEA F-100 too.  I'm thinking of one with TERs or maybe some napalm.  I'd love to see your progress pix once you gt to building.

Regards,

All HUNS had the 335 gal drop tanks on the middle station. The inboards carried the dumb bomb & the outboards carried more bombs or rocket pods.

Study the color pictures of the aft sections as some instruction sheets say titanium (the actual metal) but the color EXHAUST is the correct color. Also study the left rear section of the aft fuselage as you paint the metal tabs covering the drag chute cable channel aluminum & the rest various shades of again the color exhaust. Again photos show the correct camo paint line next to the titanium bare metal.
