Hi guys!
I just finished this one over the weekend as part of the Monogram Mafia Group Build. I can't say enough about how much a joy this kit was to build! No filler needed except for a little bit on the tip tanks. There isn't a high parts count which is great for me since I'm not able to dedicate as much time as I'd like to my beloved hobby.
In a nutshell, MM metalizer paints were used and, in spite of their fragile nature, they surprizingly held up very well in this case. I handled it and masked it and not a single bit of paint rubbed nor lifted off.
Floquil oily black was used for the anti-glare panel. I really love their paints and they airbrush really well when I thin them with some rubbing alcohol.
I had a set of Michigan ANG markings that I wanted to use on this plane since it had really flashy red bands on it. However, my two young daughters liked the light blue color of the Montana ANG markings so I went with that. I have no power whatsoever over my 11 and 7 year old girls.
Comments, criticisms, suggestions, hints and tips are all welcome!
