Beautiful build and great photography!  With chocks under those wheels it would be hard to tell that this is a photo of a model...

What an incredible job!  I like the way you photograph you planes as well.  I think I'm going to have to start trying that ;-)  Raymond

They have added a "Model Photography" forum in the Tools, Techniques, and Reference Material section.  I posted awhile ago my setup for doing those.

Beautiful T-6 Don. Mississippivol, the Monogram T-6  is better for most variants. Italaeri/Ocidental is good for the T-6G with armaments. I'm planning to build a Harvard MKII soon and will use a Monogram T-6 interior with modified control columns for that. The T-6G interior will find its way into the Monogram since they are interchangeable. Even with the drawback of the older interior, I would consider Revll/ Monogram to be the better kit over all. Switch out the rudder and the interior to Monogram and you get  a better T-6.

Ooooooo!  Now that's just PURTY!  The T-6 has always had classic lines and you sure did it justice.  Great job on the kit!

It's a beauty, Don. What metal finish did you use? Thanks for posting.

Patrick

Alclad II for the metal, with Testors metallic silver for control surfaces (doped fabric).

Great lookin' bird, Don. How does it compare to the Monogram kit, if you've built one of those as well?

Lovely Don!

I have the same kit to build still.

T-6 finished

I finished an Italari 1:48 T-6 a couple of weeks ago, but weather or available time did not allow photos till yesterday. I like to photograph models in natural sunlight against a photo backdrop.

Added plug wiring and brake lines to build.
