Thanks. Dragon has a bad rap for their 72nd aircraft kits. But I have built 3 so far and had no major issues. I have not built any of their 234's yet, but they all seem to be basically the same kit with the required parts for each version. The B-2 version is the one I will be doing, I will be building it as the B-2b recon version. I should be starting it within the first few months of next year and plan on a WiP thread.

I really want to recommend this kit. It was a great joy to build. The Revell instructions are not always clear so I used the Dragon instructions for the B-2 version. The kit has some issues: The fitting of the engines on the wings is a problem, as is the steel tube under the tail. The plastic is sometimes too delicate.If you do not want to build a "what if"please 'do ignore the Revell camo pattern and the Stammzeichen on the fuselage: they are bullsh"t. Success! You will love it. How is the B-2 version? I have it in my stash.

The Dutch Fokker G-1 Reaper, heavy fighter. If we only would have had more of them back in May 1940....

Ok, I didn't realise the Revell kit was the same as the dragon. How was it to build, I have all of the Dragon kits and will be building one next year.

Biss, it's from Revell (04373) in 1/72. It's the former Dragon kit.

The Dutch Fokker G-1 Reaper, heavy fighter. If we only would have had more of them back in May 1940....

Arado Ar 234C-3 Blitz, Bomber & reconnaissance plane
III./EKG 1 (KG 76), Alt Lönnewitz (Brandenburg), Germany, March - May 1945

Here she is and I'm quite happy with it. It was a true joy to build.

The aircraft portrays one of the three C-3's that were delivered to III. Gruppe des Einsatzkampfgeschwaders 1 ( III./EKG 1, part of KG 76) on 27th of March 1945. It was blown up by the Germans, just before Americans overran the place in May.

I didn't apply the splinter-scheme suggested by Revell, not the Dragon one, but based it on the scheme in the marvellous book "Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945" van Michael Ullman (Otringham, UK, 2002, p. 137).

Unfortunately, the swastika decal from Xtradecal fell apart when I took it from the water.
