Couple of questions...
Posted by Kagemusha on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 10:33 PM
Hi all,

1. Does anyone here know where I can get 1/72 decals for this aircraft?

McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II
VF-96 "Fighting Falcons", CVW-9, USS Constellation (CVA 64), 1972
Aircraft flown by LT Randall H. Cunningham and LTJG William P. Driscoll on triple MiG-17 kill of 10 May 1972

2. Does anyone know where to get a real good decal program for making your own?

Thanks

Sorry Kagemusha, can't help you with 1/72 decals, but if you want to make that exact plane in 1/48, try looking for Hasegawa's F-4J Showtime 100. The box says it's # P1 2500 or 07101 (not sure which number you'd need). It's a special edition I picked up about five years ago, but it may still be available somewhere. Good luck.
