I may yet find a use for those nice 21 st Century pilot figures when I re-build an old 1970s era Revell 190D.

Spru-ce, be aware that the cockpit is designed for revells oversize space man blob pilots.

If I were to do it again I'd make a booster cushion for the pilot and change the angle of the seat. The 21st century pilots are great, but the have a forward lean as you can see in my pics.

First time airbrushing and you went for Luftwaffe mottle camo! You're braver than me - well done!

FSM's articles took a look of the mystery out of it, then Paul Budnik made some stellar vids about it to boot.

I am currently working on a Revell 1/48th scale P-40 of which requires camo.  I've never attempted airbrushing camo in my life.  Your work is absolutely amazing and inspiring.  Thank you for sharing.

The airbrush always scared me, until I finally just picked it up and did it.

I used spray cans for the longest time and became proficient with them, the AB makes painting so much easier.

Good luck with your P-40, what camo scheme are you doing?

Wow, that's your first airbrushing??? A 190??? Dude!! I'm on my first build, and I'm hoping my single-color, square box M113 turns out a fraction as good as that. The exhaust pipes blow me away. I love how you added soot progressively. I still can't believe that's your first A/B job. Outstanding!

Sweet looking build and a great job on the camo. Took me a lot of builds before I attempted mottling. Nice display as well.
