Tamiya F-16C 79th FS
Posted by scapilot on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 5:30 AM

Recent project I wrapped up.  Although I've built and been amazed by a the 1:48 tamiya falcons, this one was really off the charts.  Decided to try my hand at detailed engine work, Including some wiring for added aesthetic effect.  All in all a pleasurable build.

Feel free to browse all photos of it here on my site if you're interested in seeing more.

This is a treat to see.  Is this 1:32?  If I could...I would build EVERY engine. =D

It is 1:32.  And I must agree.  I think more companies should invest engineering to have am engine that can be removed.  Tamiya proved that it is very easy to do with a little extra about. And for what they're charging us for Models these days it's not too much to expect.

Did you use a semi gloss clear to seal the paint or a metelizer sealer? Looks great.

Used metalizer sealer on the engine. Everything else was testors dull.
