I realized I haven't posted anything on here lately, been busy on that face something or other page :) Here are my latest completed projects since my Helldiver. Here is the Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk. I built OOB with brushed Tamiya acrylics sealed with Testors dullcote. Before anyone points it out, I figured out after decaling and dullcoting that I used Deep Green instead of Dark Green which will bother me until the end of time. However I don't have the time or patients to strip it down an start over so I will live with it :)
Next we have the Monogram B-17G built as the EAA's "Aluminum Overcast". It has staggered waist guns and the Koster Lockheed/Vega nose. This one I cheated and used Testors Metallic Silver in a rattle can, but all other colors are Testors Acrylics that were brushed. The decals are from Kitsworld and the whole thing was finished in Testors Glosscote. I often catch criticism for doing little to no weathering, but if you are familiar with the real aircraft, you know how I painted it is accurate!
Last but not least the 1/48 Revell B-17F converted to a YB-40 with the much coveted Paragon conversion kit. As always Tamiya brushed on with dullcote finish.

My hats off to you, John, with the brush painting!
You do fantastic work with a brush sir. And dang, what a big collection you have on display! Impressive amount of builds. :)

Egad, you do better with hand brushing than I can do with an air brush. Well done bro.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
