Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4/B, fighter bomber

Piloted by Hauptmann Hans von Hahn
(Academy 2133, 1/72)
This kit was built for a Dutch GB commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Batlle of Britain.
The bomb cart stems from another Academy kit, and the Opel Blitz truck is by Italeri:

The Dutch Fokker G-1 Reaper, heavy fighter. If we only would have had more of them back in May 1940....

Cup -  A super nice job, and in 1:72 at that. You're a brave soul indeed. The finish is just great, thanks for the post.

Great finish in that little scale.  Love the pose of the pilot figure too.  Well done.

Very good job.  The weathering looks just right to my eye.

How did you achieve the camo "blothcing " on the fusealage sides, sponge maybe ?

Great looking BF109, Cup. I thought it was 1/48 scale when I first saw the images, then read it was 1/72, which then makes it even more interesting. Great job!

Cheers,

Martin : )
