I have lost the canopy of this kit for 3 years ago . Since that i stored the kit and try to looking for a spare canopy .

Until now , i can't find any canopy yet . I love this camo very much so that i want to build it allthough without canopy

Please  enjoy !!

Sorry about the missing canopy, but that's a great model of one of my favorite modern fighters!

Really nice paint work too.

That's pretty cool. Any chance you can scratch up the bottom of the ejection seat and model it as if the seat is launching out of the aircraft? I guess that doesn't really work with the gear down, but it would explain the missing canopy.

It looks great - you should be proud of that one!

Even without a canopy this is a very beautifully done build. I hope you can find a replacement. :)

Have you contacted this company to see if they make the correct one for yours?

Either way its a real good build and the missing canopy might be annoying, but you can tell people it's just really clean.

I know I'm about six months late to the party, but better late than never!

I have that exact same kit, and I had almost the same problem. First of all, the kit canopy is TERRIBLE, so you didn't lose much; there's a seam running right down the middle of the canopy that is almost impossible to get out, plus there are several mold marks on the canopy which detract from it's appearance. And, finally, the canopy is actually about 1mm too small all around, so I'm going to HAVE to display it with the canopy open or it will be incredibly noticeable.

All that being said, I recommend getting an aftermarket (corrected) canopy from Fairy Hobby (if you can find one); I don't think Fairy Hobby is still in business, but it looks like there are still a few left on e-Bay:

Here's an couple ideas to cover the dropped landing gear; airfield base and ground crew/rescue crews running around like headless chickens. Pilot ejected while in the chocks. (Seats are zero-zero capable).

Second idea is mounted on a pole low over the ground just starting to roll. Pilot ejected on either final or takeoff.

The good thing about losing a canopy is that you don't have to mask the SOB! Stick out tongue

Nothing left but smoldering rubble. Nobody left but ghosts. This is what it is.
