Sweet build, Pawel. I've got that bird in my stash (I mostly build British and Canadian 1/72 aircraft). If mine turns out half as good as yours, I'll be pretty satisfied.

Another one masterfully done. Whatever issues you had with the decals, they looks painted on and weathered lightly like the rest.

Toshi - thank you very much! Glad I could help you in some way!

patrick206 - thanks, you are just too kind! I mostly use a Paasche VJR with a #2 (thicker) nozzle. Set on a low pressure (about 2 bar) it allows you to do quite precise shading up close, and conviniently cover bigger areas at a distance.

Hello!

Today I'd like to show you my model of the Mosquito. While it's not in my scope, I was able to buy this kit in Germany some time ago under 10$ - a price too low to pass. So I bought it and started to build it with the son of my brother. While at first he helped me a lot, later he got tired of it and I finished it myself. It's basically done OOB with the exception of replacing the antennae with copper wire, wire aerial made of stretched sprue and two round windows added in the bomb bay doors. The model was painted with Humbrols. I had some problems with the decals, that didn't want to unwrinkle after decal solvent application. I was able to save 'em with generous future application, some sanding and some retouching. But enough of the writing - here are the photos:
