Posted by Theuns on Sunday, June 28, 2015 8:03 AM
I just got the Amodel 1/72 TU 128 . anyone built this model? Anything to look out for? What was the color of the cockpits? I can only find black and white pix online. Was it the usual blue or a different color? Thanx Theuns

Not an aircraft I'm familiar with so I am not any help. Being an older Soviet bird I would think there would be plenty of photos available, but who knows. Good luck with it.

I tried to help out by doing some photo searches as well.  All I come up with, as well, are the black and whites.  That being said, it would appear that the panel is likely a dark grey or flat black color.  I'd think that if the panel was that typical Russian blue that you typically see, then the black and white picture would show up more light grey.

On the Bench:  Lots of unfinished projects!  Smile

There's a viddie in there, that has a real quick shot in color of two guys getting in. Kind of looks black and light gray, but hard to tell. Does the model allow for open canopies?

Intrerested to see this built.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Thanx for the effort guys. The canopies will be closed but the difference between grey and blue is big Lol. Think I will go with the grey.
Not a very common model. But at the time it was the biggest fighter in the world. The missiles alone were 17 foot long!
