Beautiful build! Like everyone else's said, very nice wood effect. Did you also use oils for the weathering on the plane?

Excellent job! I'd love to have one of their kits one day, and the quality of your build is only inching me closer to buying one. I love the combo of the woodwork and the lozenge.

Beautiful work, especially the wood grain. Done a bunch of WnW kits but not this one. Yours makes me want to get mine out of the stack. Nice job!

A lovely kit to build and lovely to look at !...Stunning work you've done there .
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Thanks. I have seen some builds where people use a decal for the wood grain effect. Yours looks just as good as those I have seen in the flesh.

No massive dark art to the wood. Coat of US Sand (Vallejo) then a quick covering of gloss varnish. Finally, Raw Sienna oils on and then removed with brush/sponge.
I've done two of their planes but not to the standards of yours. Well done. Did you follow the tutorial for painting wood on their web site? I've never had success with wood until I followed their advice. For once the results were terrific and I enjoyed doing it.
That's nice, I do like the wood effect on the fuselage, how did you do that.
Awesome build!
