Well that is good so far. What does the other side look like?

Who makes this kit and what scale is it?

For your first model it looks like you have a firm grip on the basics at this point. Welcome to FSM and keep us updated.  :)

Very nice underside, I'd love to see what the top side looks like.  It seems to me that you've got a great start!

That's pretty not bad for your first build. I take it this is the 72nd Airfix kit you mentioned in your intro thread.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks Joe. I can't get over the helpfulnessof everyone on this site. Everyone's comments are so inspiring . I have learnt so much already. I am well into my second build. It is a 1/72 airfix Messerschmidt Seems to be a much superior kit to the Spitfire. Must be one of their new toolings . I am going to try a bit of weathering on this one.

She came out pretty darn well! For weathering you can try a 'sludge wash', it's simple and if you don't like it you can wash it right off the model. I'm sure there's a 'How-To' around here somewhere.

You did do a really good job on that. That's pretty fine for 1/72. :)

Very much looking forward to the Messerschmitt.

Very nice first build.  Very clean. A build that you can be proud of.  If you have any questions feel free to ask anyone here in the forums.

They are a very good group of people that are very helpful.

Keep up the good work.

I know you probably don't need more of the same, but I'll go ahead and echo what everyone is saying anyhow.  =]  Great first build! And like you've already come to find out there are plenty of people on the forum with tips to help you improve.  The forum itself has a tips page where you can check out different things that interest you.  I rarely make use of it, but when I think of it I do find a method I hadn't previously considered in whatever my approach to something is.  It's quite useful.

I am well into another 1/72 build. This time a Messerchmidt. However I am using a can of compressed air to spray. Not really very good but I am working on persuading the wife how important an airbrush and compressor is in our lives lol . If anyone has any tips how I should go about it they would be very much appreciated Lol
