Harrier winter camouflage

I used mm camouflage gray as a primer for a 56 ford victoria on a white body and to me its very close to xf-55 deck tan is to light and xf-57 buff is little to dark if thats helps

in the auto forum 56 ford victoria

XF 55 Deck tan and XF 57 Buff tend towards the brown side, whereas Camouflage (Barley) grey is more bluish.

I'd look somewhere between XF 19 Sky Grey and XF 25 Light Sea Grey

(Note: IIRC, "Barley Grey" was named not for the colour resembling the colour of barley, but after the man who formulated it)

yes the us camouflage gray has a tanish color mm fs36622 it looks like model master Lt gull gray fs16440 is best guess unique RAF color and tamiya dosent have a Lt gull gray

The fuselage and wingtip panels are Tamiya Light Sea Grey (XF-25)

The inner wing panels are Vallejo Model Air (71051) Barley Grey

Not the best photo, so I'm not sure if you can see much difference. The inner panels have a slight purplish tinge.

EDIT: Note that there are two flavours of (RAF) Camouflage Grey. The original Barley Grey/Camouflage Grey (626) and "Dark" Camouflage Grey (629). I'm not sure what your model calls for, but I suspect it may be the darker shade.
