Tamiya Mustang RAF MKIII in 1:48

Ok, so I have received the masks in the mail today. One question what do I use the U-Shaped mask for? It does not seem to fit any of the canopy.

MK III was applied to both the P51-B and P51-C. Virtually every RAF Mustang III was fitted with a Malcolm Hood. I am not sure that Eduard include masks for the Malcolm Hood and most of their Mustang masks are listed as discontinued. Here are two alternatives that have Masks for the Malcolm Hood.

The above are the cheapest but are good quality. New kids on the block.

Should be the P51-B. Though MkIII can be built with the malcolm hood also. Not sure if you can build that kit with or without malcolm hood so you have to verify that but it wouldn't be the D.
