Not too long ago I saw an ad for the sheets cut to size and hole-punched to fit the Mattel machine.  As far as just sheets of clear plastic of several types, Micro Mark does carry them.

Thanks for your help, gents! I'm going to give the plates and containers a try.  I don't mind having some Arugula around!    Big Smile

I use the lids from those tubs of pre washed greens at the Safeway.

It isn't cheap, but you get Arugula!

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Go to a Party store and/or some super markets and pick up some clear plastic plates. They are about 0.02" thick and vacuform nicely. They also come in many colors and packs of 10 or up to 50 from Party stores and much less expensive than sheets. I use them. Here's one source:

Clear Stock for Vacuum-Formed Canopy
Posted by SubarooMike on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 1:57 PM

Hello everyone!

I have been V-forming my own parts for a while now, but iv've never done my own canopy.  I'm getting tired of putting out $$ for an aftermarket V-formed canopy that I can make myself with a small time investimate in carving or molding a buck.

I know I can't V-form clear styrene -- and a lot of clear plastics for that matter. Burn holes and bubbles!     Do any of you gents know of anything -- around the house, or store bought (Perhaps from a packed from something) that I can use?  I am NOT into buying X sheets for $30 online.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
