Trumpeter Messerschmitt BF 109E-3 WIP

Hi

I am still fairly new to modelling and usually do autos. However, a friend asked me to make him a Messerschmitt so I purchased the following from ebay for him:

Now, I don't know much about military aircraft but he was very specific about the aircraft he wanted. Because of this, I did some research on Luftwaffe colours and have read many posts here on the same subject so hopefully the scheme will be correct. I will be doing the following scheme:

I have even invested in an airbrush for this build, my first one :)

So far I have done the following:

Your friend is in for a real treat! Based on your progress so far that is going to come out amazing.  I remember when I first realized these aircraft fired their rounds through the propeller arc!!! Can't wait to see the final results

Sweet! I've done nothing but 1/32 scale builds for my last five and I love them, so much easier on the eyes and lots of lovely details! I'm sure your friend will be quite pleased when she's complete! Have fun with the rest of your build! Cheers, Martin : )

Thanks guys.

Yes, I prefer the larger scale. Certainly easier on the eyes :)
