I'm interested in building an Enola Gay. Of the three versions out there I can find, I'm contemplating either the Academy 1/72 or the Minimates 1/144. I'm not finding a lot of good information about either out there. Can anyone provide any feedback as to the quality of these? And what size is the 1/72. The 1/44 already looks pretty large. And one more question: can either be build with the bomb bay doors open so I can hang this thing from my ceiling with Little Boy falling out?
Edit: I'm going with the Minicraft 1/144 for now. I don't think I can fit the 1/72 wingspan in my house at the moment. And I can get a Little Boy for less than the kit costs instead of a pricey resin version.
