i cut slots in the wings so i can remove and refit them whenever i like, i also did it in such a way that they click firmly into position so they remain secure when i push them in

3 builds at once! Good luck mate...that's some task. I'd never keep track of what bits went with what kit! Smile

I don't think our cousins from over the pond do sarcasim Big Smile

I am guessing these are 72nd scale. Which kits are you useing. I really need to get myself a Typhoon, just can't decide which one.

Are you useing the Xtradecal sheet for the tsr or doing your own.

yeh all 72 scale

tsr2 is airfix

tornado and typhoon is revell but im not that impressed with the typhoon tbh

i also have an airfix typhoon which isnt that horrible tbh. its pretty basic and soime parts dont fit great but it goes together easy and to my untrained eyes it looks like a phoon

heres what i usually do with tsr2s

glue a piece of sprue under the vert stab pin,

cut the pin off the stab itself and drill a hole in it and the sprue (i use 1.5mm)

then cut a suitable piece of rod, this gives a better fit but still allows easy removal of the tail

cut the pins off the tail and drill them for 1.5 mm brass rod (make sure its easily bendable because you wont get the angle dead on)

cut a suitable length of rod.

cut down the exhaust tunnels so the rod has clearance
